Our story starts in Spain a long time ago. In the beginning of the previous century a vigorous young man whose name was Candido Penalba Morencos decided to start up his own business. It was very ambitious and risky undertaking because of the hard economy situation in the country.
Having no manufacturing equipment Candido Penalba moved to London – the capital of industrial revolution and bought there 40 looms in the year of 1901.
Despite all the financial difficulties, he managed to set up a production of fabric for mattresses in the beautiful city Valencia. Candido Penalba called his new company Kamasana and this name went down in the business history of Spain.
It has been a hard work done and the efforts yielded fruits. Business was developing significantly and finally Kamasana became the best fabric producing company in Spain and in many other countries.
Headed by sons, grandsons and grand-grandsons of Candido Penalba Morencos the company keeps traditions and unique style of manufacturing.
